Ashlee Simpson Files For Divorce

Ashlee Simpson has filed for divorce from husband Pete Wentz. TMZ reports the singer cited 'irreconcilable difference' when filing papers in L.A. County Superior Court. TMZ sources say there is no pre-nup.

According to TMZ, Simpson is asking for joint legal custody and primary physical custody of two-year-old son Bronx. She is requesting spousal and child support.

In 2008, Simpson told People she was attracted to Wentz the moment she met him: 'There was just like an awesome connection we had.' They married in a punk-rock wedding ceremony in May 2008 and in November of that year, welcomed baby Bronx Mowgli Wentz.
