New Spider-Man movie gets "Amazing" official title

We've already seen plenty of shots of Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone on the set, as well as him (or his stunt double) suited up in the Spidey suit. Now, we officially have a name for the upcoming Spider-Man reboot. Columbia Pictures announced today that the upcoming Spider-Man movie will officially be titled "The Amazing Spider-Man." They also released the first official shot of Spider-Man in full mask and suit. If you weren't convinced by what you've heard about the movie before, it definitely looks darker fare than its Tobey Maguire-starring counterparts. "The Amazing Spider-Man," which is currently filming, also stars Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field.
