Veteran actor Terrence Howard says he picked up acting tips from rapper 50 Cent

Terrence Howard may have performed alongside Hollywood greats like Academy Award winners Sandra Bullock, Richard Dreyfus and Jamie Foxx, but he says he picked up some acting tips from non other than rapper 50 Cent. Although the 41-year-old actor was in Utah this week to promote his new film, "The Ledge," at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, he revealed how the rapper "taught me how to be still." "One of the things that I learned, the hardest thing to do is be still," Howard explained to MTV. "When you don't know what to do, be still. He mastered that. And therefore, when he jumped forward and has something to say, he spoke the truth with it. That's a genius. That's what makes great film work. He was there from the beginning. I actually learned more from watching him, 'cause he taught me to be still." The two worked together on the upcoming film, "Get Rich or Die Tryin'," and Howard said he learned more from 50 Cent than the other way around.
